Yeah, so, I disappeared again... For, like, four months. Sorry about that.

As usual, I've been busy with school work and such. I've been checking messages on here pretty much daily but I don't have anything to upload. I should in the coming months, though, because I'll have three art courses next term! But for now, I'm on winter break until mid-January, so I'll have time to catch up with stuff and maybe produce some art.

Oh, and about requests: I haven't looked at them for a while... I'll try to get at some of them over break while I have all this free time.

Also, I signed up for this site called lockerz.com (you may or may not have heard about it). It's one of those rewards sites that let you earn points by logging in and taking a daily poll and then you can redeem your points for cool stuff like games, Wiis, cameras, iPods, MacBooks, etc. I am able to send invites so if you're interested just send me your e-mail and you'll be in.

Well, technically 6 days because I move in next Monday (the 24th). But there's lots of packing to be done and stuff to get ready.

On that note, it doesn't look like I'll finish the rest of my requests before the summer ends. Oops. Sorry 'bout that. I did finish one which you may have noticed, but I still have lots more to pixelize and I'm not sure I'll have enough summer to do it in. We had a good run, but I think these are going to take me longer than anticipated. Since this year should be busier than the last, I'm not sure when I'll be able to squeeze them in, so it could be December before I can work on them again. But, as I said many times before, they will get done.

I don't know when I'll update again, but hopefully I won't disappear for too long. And as always, thanks for the continuing support: the watches, the faves, the comments, everything. I appreciate it immensely.

Yeah, I have about 3 more weeks left of summer. Then it's off to junior year of college.

I should be working on requests, but alas, I have not been. If I want to finish these up by summer's end, I better get a move on it! I might just start drawing random ones out of order so I can just get them done. I get bored very easily, so I have to keep switching it up.

Nothing much else going on. Haven't done nearly as much stuff as I wanted to this summer, mostly due to my laziness... Oh, and TF2. I definitely play that way too much. (Let me know if you want to be Steam friends or anything. )

And with that, I disappear again for a random period of time! Expect something soon! (Saying that makes me HAVE to get into gear. )

*Update: OMG I posted some art! I did some requests and also uploaded some random Pokémon sketches from I don't even remember.

Yup, I only have half a summer left. And I also have more than half of a list of stuff I should be doing... I have made some progress, but not as much as I could have.

In the beginning of my summer break, I was asked for my résumé, so I quickly put it together and also started creating my website for displaying my art so that I can get a job eventually. I'm still working on my site, but if you want to take a look (and let me know what you think) go here: [link]

As I mentioned before, I took the month of June to make a playable game. If you want to check it out, you can download the .exe here: [link] (Yes, it's Windows only. I made it on XP although I have a Mac. ) I wrote all the code and made all the art, but I didn't have time to make sound, so there isn't any music or sound effects. I may upload my sprites and tile sheets here in the future.

So, now that those things are out of the way, I'm going to be trying to focus on art and uploading stuff here. I'm not guaranteeing a certain amount of art, but be on the lookout for some. I've been working slowly on the requests I have, so expect to see some of those soon (before the summer is over).

I have to stop neglecting my deviantART... It's not that I'm not here, because I check the site every day. I guess since I'm not making anything there's nothing to put here as of now. But! I have an excuse.

Recently I've been working on a fresh new game that should have a completed prototype by the end of June. I'm building it from the ground up in Game Maker, so it's kind of taking a while (since I'm not using a preexisting engine). But, in the end it should be good, both as a game and for portfolio-filling.

On that note, I've been working on an actual online portfolio with the webspace my college allocates for me. Right now I only have a template, but I'll be working on that after I make decent progress on my game and hopefully it'll be up by the time the summer ends.

And on that note, I'm going to need more art for my portfolio! Which brings me back full circle to deviantART, where I should be doing my requests and such that I can potentially use to get a job down the road. So, long story short:

Make game -> Make portfolio -> Make ART! -> Win!
