Artist's Comments

I should really stop changing my desktop... But at least this time it's the same wallpaper but with some minor changes. I edited the Dock a little bit to be the Super Mario Bros. ground tiles and the indicator lights to little light-up Marios. :D I also downloaded a new icon set that changes most of the default Mac OS X icons to pixelated ones! The set is called "Arcade Daze" and you can download it straight off of the Apple site. In this screenshot, you can only see the internal hard drive, Finder, Dashboard, Downloads folder, and Trash icons, but I'll upload another shot of some of the other ones.

I found the site where I got the wallpaper! :D Here it is for those who want it:

1024 x 768: [link]
1600 x 1200: [link]
1920 x 1200: [link]

Here's the site where this one, among many others, reside: [link]

I updated the artist's comments with the links to the different sizes of the wallpaper, and the site where I found it. I originally forgot where exactly I got it, but after a quick Google search I was able to get to it again. Hooray Google! :]

Well, there's two ways to do it, as far as I know. When I first did it, I went through some system folders to find the image and replaced it with my own. I wouldn't recommend this because it's going through system files which is always dangerous. :D
The second way is to use an app called CandyBar. (Here: [link]) It lets you change your icons, dock stuff, etc. I think it might have a trial time limit though, I'm not sure.

I think you can just change the dock to an image you have (or that you make in GIMP) and then get rid of the app. It replaces the default image with your image and I don't think it changes it back ever. I'm sure there are other ones that do the same thing somewhere on the internet. :D
